Next DBC meetings and programs
All meetings held in the Education Business Hall (EBH) at Fort Lewis College at 6:00 p.m., unless stated otherwise. From Durango, go up 8th Avenue to the college. Turn left at the first light (Rim Drive). Turn into the first parking lot (you can park there). EBH is the building on your left as you enter the parking lot. Parking on campus is free after 5:00 p.m. Google map link
16 September 2026 at 6:00 p.m. Our favorite photos. Twelve DBC and/or Durango Photography Club members will "show and tell" up to five of their favorite, high quality, bird photos. Note: Entries to show your photos are now closed.

Field trips, meet-ups, and more
Wednesday Morning Bird Walks with Lisa! All levels, including beginners.
We meet every Wednesday through September in the Botanic Gardens near the painted wall in front of the Durango Public Library at 8:00 a.m. After exploring the Animas River Trail, we will finish around 9:30.
Saturday August 15. 8:00 a.m. (No leader) Meetup at Rotary Park for birding along the Animas River and hatchery area
Sunday August 16. 7:30 a.m. Wetherill Mesa Pavillion in Mesa Verde National Park, Montezuma County. Up to 5 miles of paved trails. Looking for Meadowlarks, wrens and sparrows. Call 970-529-4629 to RSVP. (this is not a DBC Event)
Saturday August 29 at 8:00 a.m. Mike Foster is leading a trip at the Nature Center from 8:00 to 12:00. It is free, but a $10 donation is appreciated. (this is not a DBC Event)
